Bio
Dr. Cressilee Bryant currently serves as assistant professor of surgery and associate residency site director for the Indiana University School of Medicine. She received her medical degree from University of Oklahoma.
Prior to joining Indiana University, Dr. Bryant completed her residency in General Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and her fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at IU School of Medicine.
Her clinical focus is in acute care surgery and includes trauma surgery, emergency general surgery and surgical critical care.
Dr. Bryant’s research focus is in geriatric trauma, trauma triage and systems-based practices. She has contributed to three peer reviewed publications.
She is a member of American College of Surgeons, the Association of Women Surgeons, Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), Western Trauma Association and Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Bryant enjoys spending time with her family, 2 dogs and 2 horses. She’s an avid sports fan and enjoys playing basketball, golf and showing Morgan horses.
