The Chirgwin laboratory offers novel molecular approaches to studyingin vivophenomena of bone metastasesex vivo, including development of novel alternatives to animal models and application of new biochemical markers to replacein vivoimagining. A strong research training environment will be provided by collaborations with more junior investigators, such as Drs. Bellido and Roodman. Dr. Chirgwin has trained graduate students (Siclari & Dunn) and postdocs (Fournier & Juarez) in conjunction with Dr. Theresa Guise & Khalid Mohammad.
