Bio
Dr. Hunter, a native New Mexican, attending the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor's in Science in 2015. He then attended the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and graduated in 2020. Upon graduation, Dr. Hunter attended and completed his residency in Family Medicine at Indiana University Methodsit Family Medicine Residency in Indianapolis, IN. He pracitces full scope family medicine, focusing on the care of hospitalized patients and outpatient primary care. When not practicing, Dr. Hunter enjoys flying hot air balloons and spending time outdoors with his family.

Dr. Hunter's research interests include curriculum design and advancing best practices in graduate medical education and program evaluation. Further, he has interests in health policy research related to healthcare desparities, provider scarcity, and equitable care delivery.
Dr. Hunter has passion for caring for pateints living with substance use disorders, advocating to better access and informed care for this at risk population. He practices across the life span, caring for patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
