John Guardiola, MD

Dr. John Guardiola is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. He completed his undergraduate degree, medical school, internal medicine residency, and a chief medicine resident year at the University of Louisville. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Indiana University where he served as chief fellow then joined the faculty in 2023.

He cares for patients at clinics in Indianapolis and Carmel for general GI disorders, such as constipation, diarrhea, reflux, and abdominal pain. He also performs endoscopic procedures at these locations. His primary academic interests are endoscopic resection of complex colorectal polyps, the completion of difficult colonoscopies, endoscopic technological innovations, and teaching gastroenterology fellows.
