Bio
Dr. Cavaghan is the Service Line Leader for Indiana University Health Physicians (IUHP) Endocrinology and Metabolism as well as the Medical Director for the Medical Diagnostic Clinic, University Hospital.
Dr. Cavaghan is board certified in endocrinology and metabolism. She has been practicing endocrinology since 1998. Dr. Cavaghan has special clinical interests in endocrine diseases in pregnancy, thyroid disease, diabetes and polycystic ovary syndrome.
Dr. Cavaghan received her doctor of medicine, as well as completing her internship, residency and fellowship, at the University of Chicago. Dr. Cavaghan is accredited in thyroid ultrasound and fine needle biopsy by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. She is a member of the Endocrine Society and American Diabetes Association.
