Why I chose family medicine: I chose family medicine because I enjoy the full spectrum care I am able to provide. I also enjoy the relationships I am able to develop with my patients and their families.

Why I chose the IU Methodist Family Medicine Residency Program: I chose the IU Methodist Family Medicine Residency Program because I was once a patient of this residency. They delivered my last child via emergency c-section. As a patient I experienced firsthand the dedication this residency has in not only teaching the residents medical skills, but also teaching the very important skill of excellent patient care. As a fourth year medical student, I was given the opportunity to do a clinical rotation with the residents. I felt at home within the first few minutes of my rotation.

Personal interests and hobbies: I enjoy cooking, reading and anything outdoors.
