Jennifer L. Chmielewski, MD

Dr. Chmielewski received her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Her research includes analysis of various factors, such as dietary potassium intake and elevated osmolarity, with elevated blood pressure and decreased GFR among young adolescents. She has volunteered with an inner city elementary school enrichment program and with a Teen Pregnancy Prevention Task Force.  She is interested in advocacy, specifically related to improving gun safety, as well as global health and neonatology.  She loves traveling, stand-up paddle boarding, spending time with her husband and black lab, and college sports, especially her alma mater, the University of Michigan (Go Blue!).
