Bio
Dr. Morkos strives to provide his patients with the highest quality of care. He feels to accurately diagnose and treat his patients, he must understand not only the scientific facts but also the tight regulation of different hormones in the human body. Dr. Morkos' clinical interests include osteoporosis, bone and calcium disorders, adrenal gland and thyroid disorders, and insulin therapy management including insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring. Aside from medicine, he enjoys playing table tennis and volunteering at St. Mary's Church.
Dr. Morkos received his medical degree at Alexandria University School of Medicine in Egypt. He completed his internal medicine residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County and an endocrinology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Morkos is board certified in endocrinology along with internal medicine.
