Bio
Why I chose family medicine: I love the breadth of training in family medicine. The opportunity to work with all kinds of patients and diseases and the ability to work in a variety of settings. Developing long term relationships allows us to address many factors contributing to health and wellness.
Why I chose the IU Methodist Family Medicine Residency Program: The IU Methodist Family Medicine Program has a strong foundation in hospital-based medicine which provides residents both the volume and complexity of patients needed to develop strong clinical skills. I also spent my preclinical and clinical years at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis working closely with faculty who are at the IU Methodist Family Medicine Residency Program. I knew firsthand that this program had excellent clinicians with a passion for teaching.
Personal interests and hobbies: I enjoy cycling, traveling, cooking, gardening and exploring Indianapolis.
