Bio

Mohsin Mukhtar, MD, MBA, is an emergency and nuclear medicine radiologist serving as a faculty member in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at the Indiana University School of Medicine since 2024. He completed his medical education at Indiana University, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree, followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in nuclear medicine, during which time he served as Chief Resident. Additionally, he holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on entrepreneurship and management from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

Before pursuing his medical career, Dr. Mukhtar gained valuable experience in healthcare equity research and investment banking on Wall Street, where he honed his analytical skills and understanding of the healthcare landscape. His professional interests lie at the intersection of medicine, policy, and economics, with a particular passion for exploring innovative ways to provide high-quality, personalized, and timely care to patients. Dr. Mukhtar is dedicated to advancing the field of medicine through a combination of clinical expertise, advocacy, and mentorship.
