Bio
Dr. August Boeglin is clinical faculty within the division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Dr. Boeglin was raised in Bloomington, IN and completed his undergraduate studies and medical school at Indiana University. He completed his pediatrics residency at Kapi`olani Medical Center for Women and Children in Honolulu, affiliated with the University of Hawai`i. Dr. Boeglin worked as a pediatric hospitalist in Hawai`i and Pennsylvania before joining IUSM in 2024.
Dr. Boeglin believes all hospitalized children deserve personalized and cutting-edge care. As a founding member of the Riley Pediatric Hospitalist group at IU Health Bloomington Hospital, he is passionate about bringing Riley expertise and quality to his hometown. Outside of medicine, Dr. Boeglin is an avid musician and can often be found writing, recording, and performing music.
