Bio

Dr. Andrew Drahos is an Assistant Professor of Surgery within the Department of Surgery. He earned his undergraduate degree from Purdue University and his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Drahos completed his General Surgery residency at Mercer University and then completed his surgical critical care fellowship and an AAST ACS fellowship at Indiana University.

He is board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. His clinical focus is Acute Care Surgery and includes emergency general surgery, trauma surgery and surgical critical care.

Dr. Drahos’ research focus is chest wall injury and reconstruction, coagulopathy and blood utilization, geriatric trauma and acute pain management.
