Alex Urban, MD

Bio

Dr. Urban graduated from Purdue University with a double major in Neurobiology & Physiology and Business Management. He earned his medical degree at the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee. He is ABIM board certified in internal medicine. As a poster competition finalist, the American College of Cardiology recognized his research regarding transfer delays for STEMI patients. Other works have been published in CHEST for use of ultrasound in the identification of lung pathology. His interests include clinical cardiology, cardiovascular imaging, and healthcare administration. In his free time, Dr. Urban enjoys outdoor recreation, fantasy football, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. He eagerly awaits the next Chicago Bears Super Bowl victory!
