Bio

Dr. Nevel grew up in Indiana, completing his undergraduate degree, medical degree, and MBA at Indiana University. He met his wife in medical school, and they ventured east for residency training at the University of Virginia. While there, he took on the role of chief resident and went on to complete a fellowship in ED operations and health system administration. Simultaneously, his wife was in the neurology residency program. Afterward, they moved to New York where she completed a neuro-oncology fellowship while Adam served in an academic faculty position at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Adam's primary interests are emergency department operations and throughput, and quality improvement, as well as admin-related residency education. At Mount Sinai, he led the emergency department sepsis initiative and helped establish and direct the emergency medicine residency admin elective, leadership curriculum, and admin/operations interest group. He and his family are excited to be back home in Indiana.
