Bio

Dr. Nathan Swinger is a native Midwesterner who grew up in Kansas City before attending medical school at the University of Missouri. He then completed a general pediatric residency at Mercer University and a pediatric critical care fellowship at the University of Alabama - Birmingham. He is excited to be back in the midwest and a part of the pediatric critical care team at Indiana University and Riley Hospital. In addition to critical care, Nathan has a strong interest in medical education and is eager to use this passion to serve medical students, residents and fellows in the pediatric ICU. Outside of work, Nathan enjoys time with his wife and energetic puppy, is an active member of his church and enjoys hiking and camping.
