Bio
Medical School: Indiana University School of Medicine
Hometown: Sacramento, CA
Interests: 24/7 learning, conversations with psychotic patients, environmental influences on human behavior and medical/social outcomes, Pilates, trying to love healthy food, trying not to love unhealthy food, family, friends, fixing up my 1890's house, low humidity days and Costco.
Why I chose IU Psychiatry Residency: I went to IU for medical school and my experiences with the psychiatry department during my 3rd and 4th year rotations are primarily what drew me to the program. The attendings and residents I worked with were really friendly and helpful, the clinical experiences were vast, patient populations diverse, and the focus really seemed to be on education rather than scut work (not going to put any other specialties/programs on blast, buuuut). I'm now in my 4th year of residency and still couldn't be happier to be part of this awesome team.
