Chad D. Baughman, MPAS

Mr. Baughman is a Physician Assistant and is an Adjunct Lecturer in Psychiatry at the IU School of Medicine since 2016.  He started to practice as a PA in 2004 after graduating from Butler University.

His career has been focused in neuropsychiatry with roles in both psychiatry and neurology. Chad's primary clinical practice at IU Health University Hospital with the Consultation/Liaison Psychiatry Team. Helping to alleviate a patient's emotional suffering and offering psychiatric treatment advice to other medical services can be challenging but very rewarding. Playing a part in the education of tomorrow's physicians is an great honor and responsibility. 

Chad is also the Department of Psychiatry APP Team Lead and facilitates the Psychiatry Track of the IU Health APP Fellowship Program.
