Dr. Sandeep Puranik MD is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Indiana University School of Medicine. He is a graduate of Vijayanagar Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary, India. Dr. Puranik completed his pediatric residency at J. J. M. Medical College, Davangere, India and also at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Flushing, NY and pediatric pulmonology fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh or UPMC, Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Puranik holds membership in numerous national professional societies including the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Thoracic Society. His Research focuses on asthma and respiratory management in children with neuromuscular disorders.
