Bio
Dr. Hale is a volunteer clinical professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Indiana University School of Medicine as well as the Medical Director of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at IU Health, Associate Director of the ACGME accredited Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine, and a practicing urogynecologist at Urogynecology Associates in Indianapolis. Dr. Hale is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American College of Surgeons. He has earned board certification from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in both Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Hale has been associated with many firsts in his career including performing the first robotic pelvic floor reconstructive surgery in the United States and being the Program Director for 10 years of the first accredited Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship in the country. Dr. Hale has conducted numerous sponsored and investigator initiated research studies and has authored over 70 publications during his career to date. His public service most recently included presiding as President of the American Urogynecologic Society.
