Bio

Dr. Matt Friedman came to Riley Hospital for Children after completing his pediatric Critical Care Fellowship at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care. Clinically, Dr. Friedman works in the PICU and CVICU at Riley where he also serves as ECMO Medical Director, Fellowship Program Director and Neurocritical Care Director. Dr. Friedman's research focus is on improving outcomes for children treated with ECMO.
