Bio
Omer Saeed MBBS is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology certified in Anatomical, Clinical and Cytopathology. He earned his medical degree from the School of Medicine at the University of Khartoum in Sudan. He then taught at his medical school as well as at Saint George’s University in Grenada W I for several years receiving several teaching awards. He moved to the United States where he completed his AP/CP pathology residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. During his residency he was awarded two awards in research excellence and professionalism. He served as chief resident during his final year of residency. He then finished a year of Cytopathology fellowship at Indiana University, followed by a year of Surgical pathology fellowship with focus in Gastrointestinal Pathology at Indiana University.
