Bio
Dr. Soleimani currently serves as an assistant professor of clinical surgery for the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Soleimani received her medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
Prior to joining Indiana University, Dr. Soleimani completed surgical residency at Michigan State University in Lansing, followed by a breast surgical oncology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Her clinical focus is in surgical management of breast disease, including breast cancer, benign breast conditions and management of individuals at increased risk of breast cancer.
Dr. Soleimani’s research focus is in outcome research in breast cancer and breast diseases. She has served as principal or co-investigator to more than twenty-five peer-reviewed publications.
Dr. Soleimani is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, and the American College of Surgeons.
