Bio
Ryan R. Harris, MD is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine. She completed her psychiatry residency training at Indiana University School of Medicine where she served as Chief Resident. Upon graduation she received the William P. Fisher, M.D. Award for excellence in clinical and academic performance during residency.
Dr. Harris is presently appointed as Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry. She is passionate about working to understand how culture shapes and impacts psychiatric treatment and delivery of care. Additionally, she has had a longstanding interest in medical education and serves as the Director for the medical student rotation in Psychiatry. Her clinical interests include perinatal mental health and helping individuals heal from trauma. She aspires to a career characterized by providing excellent patient care while delivering quality education to the next generation of physicians.
