Bio

Dr. Chabtini is assistant professor of clinical surgery within the Department of Surgery.  She is the associate program director for the Cardiothoracic surgery residency. Her clinical areas of expertise are adult cardiac surgery which includes coronary artery bypass graft surgery (CABG), valve surgery and aortic procedures. Dr. Chabtini has earned awards for AOA Honor Medical Society and Paul Harris Foundation Humanitarian Award. 

She earned her medical degree from The Lebanese University Faculty of Medical Sciences. She completed her clinical training in General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. She also completed research fellowships at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children’s Hospital.
