Bio
Tracy received her PhD in Cancer Biology from Vanderbilt University in 2002, where she investigated the role of matrix metalloproteases in mammary gland development and breast cancer. She then joined the Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Baylor College of Medicine as a postdoctoral fellow where she studied the functions of Rho GTPases and their regulators in the developing mammary gland. In 2008, Tracy joined the faculty at IUSM-South Bend where she continued her research on Rho GTPases in normal and neoplastic mammary gland development. Currently, she serves as the statewide course director for Human Structure and teaches histology.
