Bio
Dr. Daniela Lobo is from Honduras and was educated there, earning her MD in 2003 and completing her Family Medicine residency at the Indiana University-Methodist Family Medicine Residency in 2009, since then she has worked in primary care and has served as an Affiliate and now as an Associate Professor of Family Medicine, teaching residents and medical students in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Her clinical interests include Women’s Health and Obstetrics, Hospitalists Medicine, and Travel Medicine
Her passion for Family Medicine is born out of a desire to serve others; it also provides her the opportunity to see a diverse population of patients with a variety of needs resulting in her never having a dull day. The ever changing pace coupled with her desire to provide comprehensive, compassionate care to patients and their families, is central to her love of the specialty. Dr. Lobo prides herself on providing care that educates, drives prevention of disease, manages acute and chronic conditions, and helps patients coordinate and navigate the world of specialist care.
As a Family Physician, she has been board certified from 2009 and holds certification until 2019 (at which point she will qualify for renewal). She is bilingual in both English and Spanish and finds herself as a competent contributor to Latino Health in the community.
Aside from medicine her interests include going on mission trips, traveling to new and exciting places around the globe and next door, and along with traveling to new places, she also enjoys getting a chance to sample new flavors!
