Alhasan Elghouche, MD, MS, joined the Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery faculty in 2021. Dr. Elghouche earned his medical degree and completed his Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, completing his residency in 2021. He also received additional training in clinical research and translational science and has over a dozen publications, including peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters. Dr. Elghouche is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Elghouche chose this specialty because it allows him to care for patients of all ages with both minor and major health issues affecting a very intricate anatomic region. Dr. Elghouche believes it is important to listen to the patient and provide them with all available options so they can make the decision that is best for them.
His clinical practice encompasses the breadth of the field and he treats both children and adults with all types of Ear, Nose, and Throat disorders. He is especially interested in: nasal airway obstruction, sinusitis, obstructive sleep apnea, thyroid/parathyroid disease, salivary gland disease/masses and voice/airway disorders.
Dr. Elghouche sees patients and performs surgery at IU Health Saxony Hospital.
