Bio

I plan to pursue a career in academic medicine with a focus on precision oncology.

Clinically, my passion is breast oncology. My research is centered on improving outcomes for individuals at higher risk for developing cancer. Specifically: 1) Analysis of large clinico-genomic datasets for the identification of novel genetic variation associated with cancer predisposition; 2) implementing strategies that harness germline genomic information for early detection, prevention and treatment; 3) development of improved medical management surveillance strategies for germline carriers; 4) developing tools that effectively communicate and disseminate genetic information to patients and their family members to improve cascade testing and medical management of at-risk relatives.
