Robert N. Cantor, MD

Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine

Bio

Dr. Cantor was raised in Indianapolis and is proud to be called a “Hoosier.” He graduated from Indiana University in 2007 with a B.A. in biology, and subsequently obtained his Master’s degree in Biology in 2008. He graduated from the IU School of Medicine in 2012, and then completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Indiana University in 2015. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine.

His academic interests include student education, and he is the education director at this site for both 4th year medical as well as physician assistant students. Dr. Cantor joined the IU School of Medicine faculty as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine in 2015.

Away from the hospital, Rob enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and two huskies. He also likes spending time outdoors, skiing/snowboarding, skeet shooting, and traveling.
