Bio

While providing newborn care at IU Health Methodist Hospital, Dr. Scott enjoys educating new parents on how to care for their baby.  Dr. Scott particularly enjoys helping families successfully breastfeed their new baby and talking about ways to keep their baby safe and healthy through safe sleep and illness prevention.  Dr. Scott leads many quailty improvement initiatives both within IU Health and Indiana to improve the overall care for newborns.  Dr. Scott spends time educating pediatric and family medicine residents and medical students within the Indiana University School of Medicine. Providing these learners with the knowledge and tools to be successful in their own future practice is particularly rewarding.
