Bio
Why I chose general surgery as a career:
I had a hard time deciding between general and a surgical subspecialty. I ended up choosing general surgery because I did not want to limit my knowledge and skill to a single organ system of the body. I wanted to learn and do it all.
Why I chose the IU School of Medicine General Surgery Residency Program:
This program is massive university program, and that is a great strength. We are exposed to all patient populations at a very high level of care.
Professional/Research Interests:
Surgical critical care, trauma and emergency general surgery, ECMO
Personal Interests/Hobbies:
Playing with my kids and I also enjoy cooking
