Bio
Dr. Ivan Hadad is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in Indianapolis. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Illinois, with degrees in Cell and Structural Biology and Spanish. He then went on to complete his M.D. at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He then completed a full General Surgery residency at Indiana University in Indianapolis, also performing and publishing research on irradiated wound healing and adipose stem cells. He then completed a residency in Plastic Surgery at the Harvard Plastic Surgery Program.
Dr. Hadad is Board Certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
His practice is predominantly at Eskenazi Hospital and IU Health University Hospital.
Dr. Hadad is fluent in Spanish. His research and clinical interests include the full breadth of plastic surgery, and, in particular, surgical treatments for migraine headaches, as well as breast reconstruction. Via liposuction, he performs adipose (fat) stem cell harvest and treatments for peripheral vascular disease.
