Dr. Pollard grew up in Westfield, Indiana and attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio for her undergraduate studies. She earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University and returned to Indiana to complete the IU School of Medicine emergency medicine residency program. After two years in St. Louis as a critical care fellow at Washington University, Katherine is excited to come home as an emergency medicine/critical care faculty member at Methodist. She is interested in learning how care in the emergency department affects patient outcomes in the ICU, improving medical team communication with patients and families, and supporting resident education.
Katherine enjoys spending time with her friends and family, swimming, eating great food, and reading good books.
