Bio

I have had the great pleasure of being a pediatric hospitalist for Riley Hospital since 2003. During that time, I have worked in Methodist Hospital, IU Health North, Riley Hospital, and now IU Health West Hospital. As the founding member of the hospitalist team at IU Health West, I developed a program in which there is 24 hour/7 day a week coverage of a 6-bed pediatric inpatient unit, a 16-bed normal newborn nursery, and an 11-bed special care nursery/level II NICU. Appointed as Medical Director of Pediatrics at IUH West in 2007 and elected Chief of Pediatrics in 2012, my special interests include safe and effective care of inpatient pediatric patients and neonates, nursing education, and resident education.
