Dr. Ballinger is an experienced clinician and educator whose research interests include education of patients and their families, all levels of medical education, and faculty development. Following medical school at Rutgers University - New Jersey Medical School, she trained in pediatrics and pediatric rheumatology at Baylor College of Medicine - Texas Children's Hospital with research fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. She has delivered state of the art care to children with rheumatic disease for over 20 years. She is chief of clinical operations in Pediatric Rheumatology at Riley Hospital.
