Bio
Dr. Laughlin currently serves as assistant professor of surgery for the Indiana University School of Medicine. She received her bachelor degree from Ball State University, a Master of Science degree from Indiana University and her medical degree from the IU School of Medicine.
Her clinical focus is in trauma/acute care surgery and includes critical care medicine.
Dr. Laughlin's research focus is in trauma, where she has served as principle, co-investigator or contributor to more than five peer reviewed publications.
She is currently a member of the American Medical Association, Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma and Society of Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Laughlin is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an Executive Councilor for the Indiana College of Surgeons, Indiana Chapter.
