Dr. Mackey joined the IU School of Medicine Department of Neurology in 2011. He is the Associate Director of the Stroke Program at IU Health Methodist Hospital and oversees the Cerebrovascular Outcomes Center, which is focused on improving outcomes at our Comprehensive Stroke Center. He also serves as the director of the IU Mobile Stroke Unit.
Dr. Mackey is the principal investigator for several stroke studies with a special interest in intracerebral hemorrhage imaging and outcomes. He is a Fellow of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association and serves on several national AHA/ASA committees.
