Bio
Dr. Gripe has been a faculty member within the division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine since 2008. She was educated/trained locally, attending Indiana University for both undergraduate and medical school prior to completing residency at Riley Hospital for Children. Dr. Gripe is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Her clinical time is spent caring for patients at IUH West, IUH Fishers, and IUH Bloomington hospitals. Prior to the IUH Metro reorganization, she served as the Pediatric section chief at IUH West. Dr. Gripe was recently named medical co-director at IUH Fishers for the PHM group.
Dr. Gripe has a special interest in medical ethics. She completed a clinical fellowship with the Fairbanks Center for Medical Ethics at IUH Methodist and later earned certification as a Healthcare Ethics Consultant (HEC-C). Dr. Gripe currently co-chairs the Ethics committee at IUH West.
