Bio
My clinical and teaching work focus on children and adolescents with anxiety, tic, and impulse control disorders, particularly obsessive-compulsive disorder, Tourette’s disorder, selective mutism, and trichotillomania. I am interested in working with patients with complex combinations of disorders. I also collaborate with the International Adoption Clinic of Riley Hospital, as many of those young patients have particular issues with anxiety and trauma histories. I work on insuring that faculty, clinical staff, and residents write well-documented medical reports that meet audit standards from governmental agencies.

I participate in clinical ADHD medication research as a back-up physician with the ADHD research group at Riley.
Typically, I work with directly with 2 junior medical students each clinical rotation. I also supervise the senior student elective program for the department of psychiatry. I also supervise child psychiatry fellows and visiting child neurology fellows and pediatrics residents in the child psychiatry clinic. My lectures focus on anxiety and tic disorders, but I also discuss general child psychiatry topics for the pediatric dental fellows and the child neurology fellows.
