Bio

Megan Pugh was born in Asheville, North Carolina. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for her undergrad degree in Global Studies with a focus global health and Spanish language. After graduation, she worked as a medical assistant and interpreter in a primary care clinic for underserved populations in Charlotte, NC. Staying in North Carolina, she then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. Dr. Pugh and her husband are excited to have Couples Matched into an adventure at such an excellent institution in Indiana! Her clinical interests include general obstetrics and gynecology, complex family planning and reproductive justice advocacy. She believes every person is entitled to quality and comprehensive health care. When not at the hospital, her interests include reading fantasy novels, baking extravagant cakes and taking her spoiled rescue dog, Junebug, on walks.
