Bio

Why I chose Family Medicine:

Family Medicine affords a broad spectrum of options with the ability to tailor your practice to a range of interests. Continuity of care with whole families is unique. I also strongly believe in the importance of primary care on a population level. The opportunity to intervene before a problem presents is greatly rewarding.

Why I chose the IU Health Primary Care Central Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program:

This program offers true broad-spectrum training and ability hone specific skills with the subspecialty tracks. I loved the idea of a program with a community feel and academic backing of an institution like IU. The friendly atmosphere and wonderful city of Indianapolis were the icing on the cake.

Interests and hobbies:

I enjoy walks, camping, and dog friendly restaurants with my wife and our Australian shepherd. I also backcountry backpack, having most recently completed the Tahoe Rim Trail. I like to run and have completed two marathons. Video games are my favorite way to relax and keep up with friends.
