Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose family medicine because of the variety of encounters it allows. I enjoy working with pediatric and adult patients, and enjoy doing clinic procedures.
Why I chose the IU School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial: I originally was interested in the program because I am from Evansville and my wife is from Ferdinand. During my fourth year of medical school, I was able to spend a month with the residency program. I really enjoyed the residents, faculty, and patients I interacted with and knew it was the place for me.
Personal interests and hobbies: I love spending as much time as I can with my wife and newborn daughter. I also enjoy watching sports, especially IU basketball/football and the Indianapolis Colts. I also enjoy golfing.
