Dr. Grote grew up in Holland, MI and moved to Indianapolis during middle school, attending Purdue University for undergraduate. He completed his MD/PhD at Saint Louis University, studying novel hormones preventing and treating hypoglycemia in diabetes. He is hoping to practice Pediatric Endocrinology, treating kids with diabetes and researching the pathophysiology behind the disease.
