Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose family medicine because I love the constant variety of care to be provided throughout life. I don’t want to have to “give away” my patients at any point just because of their age or disease and I feel that Family Medicine gives me the chance to build those lifelong relationships with my patients.
Why I chose the IU School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial: Every person I spoke to during interviews was so friendly and welcoming. You could tell everyone was happy to be here and loved their jobs. I also visited the Jasper area and felt it was a wonderful place to bring my young family.
Personal interests and hobbies: Hiking, visiting orchards with my husband, playing with my 2 beautiful children and playing piano.
