Why IU:  IU is a powerhouse within the Med-Peds world. There is a strong Med-Peds presence on campus (read: lots of Med-Peds mentors & residents!) with equally strong Medicine and Pediatrics programs. The global health program’s through AMPATH is nationally-renowned. There’s a good number of Spanish speakers (which is something I looked for) who live in Indy. Oh, and it’s warmer than Minnesota! Overall, though, the residents are the best thing about IU: Everyone is so friendly and down to earth and always willing to help out or hang out!
