Why I chose Family Medicine: I chose family medicine for the depth of relationships and breadth of practice. Once I realized I could work with all populations in a setting that fosters relationship and community with patients, I was sold!  

Why I chose the IU Health Primary Care Central Indianapolis Family Medicine Residency Program: When looking into residencies, I wanted to train at a program with incredible resources/facilities/staff that listened to their resident’s needs and met them as best they could. IU fulfilled all these hopes and the people I met were so welcoming! It doesn’t hurt that my fiancé also matched at IU for ophthalmology.  

Personal interests and hobbies: I enjoy running, hiking, camping, fishing…basically all outdoor activities! I also love to play volleyball, sing in my car, and spend time with friends/family.
