Bio
Why I chose Family Medicine: I found that building a close bond with my patients is a big part of the reason I am so passionate about medicine. Knowing my patients personally really helps me to understand and treat their illnesses. I also found myself drawn to the idea of preventative care and performing hands-on procedures in the clinical environment.
Why I chose the IU School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial: There are a lot of family medicine residency programs out there, but none made me feel as warm and welcomed as this program. The faculty here truly are the best mentors with a passion for teaching. The residents are a family, always helping and supporting one another. It is also a university program in a rural location, allowing for better learning resources and opportunities.
Personal interests and hobbies: I enjoy obsessively watching videos of my puppy Zumba and laughing to myself. I also enjoy exercising, dancing, and just about any activity that can take me outdoors.
