Why I chose Family Medicine: During my clinical years in medical school, I quickly realized that my favorite part of the job was building relationships with patients. Combining that with my desire to not only treat illness but to also prevent it made family medicine the natural choice for me. 

Why I chose the IU School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program at Memorial: I chose the family medicine residency at Memorial Hospital because of the people. This program is home to the most supportive culture that I have ever been a part of. The community in Jasper is equally exceptional. I couldn't imagine a better place to live and work.

Personal interests and hobbies: Cooking, eating, traveling and snowboarding.
