Bio

Why Emergency Medicine? I’ve always wanted to be involved in a career why can I have an impact on the most lives possible, and emergency medicine offers that unique characteristic to be there for someone when they need help most. Also, it’s just so much fun to be able to do the vast array of procedures while having fun in a team environment.

Why did you choose the Indiana University School of Medicine Emergency Residency program? The amazing opportunity to train at a program with 3 Level 1 trauma centers that really pushes their residents to be hands on come day one. Also, the resident led mentality and unique concept where they offer the residents a 49% say in every decision about the program.

What are some of your personal interests? Playing soccer (we immediately made a resident team), working out, cooking southern food, going out with all of my fellow residents, and most importantly spending time playing with my son!
