Bio

Why Emergency Medicine? I chose Emergency Medicine because it is at the crossroads of the community and medicine. We handle social and societal issues that most professions do not experience. We are the frontline. We are physicians that people entrust with their lives during some of the hardest and scariest times, when they feel like they have nowhere else to go. We treat anyone, anything, at anytime!

Why did you choose the Indiana University School of Medicine Emergency Residency program? Because it was a program that provides a world-renowned EM education and experience at three Level 1 trauma centers. The pathology that you are exposed to is second to none. It was evident on interview day that the residents and staff were all welcoming and supportive of my interests in HIV prevention and PrEP education through the ED.

What are some of your personal interests? Traveling, Music Festivals, RuPaul's Drag Race, The Olympics, walks with my goldendoodle, Random trivia knowledge, Tumbling, and Springboard diving
